The 2-week ISTE Mega workshop was held from 25th June to 4th July 2012, (10 days) on the subject "Introduction to Research Methodologies".
All over India total 185 Remote Centers are established and out of them 9 RCs are located in Gujarat. We are proud to say that VBTIT&RC is one of these Institutes League.
Under the programme, IIT Bombay conducted ISTE workshop and 62 participant teachers attended workshop. Lectures were delivered by faculty from IIT Bombay, while tutorials and lab sessions are conducted in the same RC. The lecture transmission and live interaction took place through distance mode using the AVIEW technology on the internet.
The subject, "Introduction to Research Methodologies", is being recommended by AICTE to be a compulsory core subject for all ME/M.Tech programs in the country. This subject is important to teachers from Science stream as well. Further, the existing research scholars and PG students will also find it useful.
