General Information

At present degree courses are offered in following branches of Engineering:

  1. Computer Science & Engineering
  2. Electronics & Communication Engineering
  3. Electrical Engineering
  4. Mechanical Engineering
  5. Civil Engineering
  6. MBA (Full time)
  7. M.E. (Civil - Construction Management)
  8. M.E. (EC - Signal Processing & Communication)

Keeping in view the above needs and guidelines suggested by AICTE(All India Council of Technical Education ) the entire campus is designed by our office.

To give excellent education to the students and raise their performance at the University Level is of course one of the major tasks of the Institute. Different activities are arranged so as to bring out the latent talents and strengths of students and also to develop; a strong and responsible character. We make sincere efforts to inspire the students to work hard to achieve higher intellectual levels. The dedicated faculty members are playing a major and important role to achieve this mission. To meet these objectives, we have adopted the following practices :

  1. Rigorous coaching and continuous evaluation
  2. Academic rigor and innovative pedagogical tools
  3. Emphasis on large number of field based projects and interaction with Professionals.
  4. Active participation of students in co-curricular and extra-curricula activities(Mostly technical like Paper presentation, Model Making, Technical Visits, Conferences, etc.).
  5. Seminars and projects apart from regular studies.

Academic objectives

• To apply innovative and proven educational methods to produce engineers who possess the knowledge and skills required to serve in an ethical and professional manner while keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology.
• To contribute to the development of the individual, to make him/her self reliant.
• To give all students, undergraduate a broadly based Institutional experience that includes: superior training in their chosen fields of study; a well-rounded education that enhances the development of their creativity, critical thinking, global outlook, and cultural awareness; a campus life that prepares them to be community leaders and lifelong learners.
• To produce graduates equipped for high personal and professional achievement.
• To provide education for citizenship, social efficiency and social service.
• To prepare individuals for contributing to economic development and national wealth through productive employment.
• To promote disciplined corporate, intellectual civic and cultural life amongst students.
• To foster activities to bring out the creative talents of the students.
• To promote social service activities.
• To encourage amongst students, awareness of the responsibilities of an individual in a democratic sicoety.
• To bring awareness about the latest developments in their fields of study.
• To provide guidance and training to graduate to develop better learning skills and personality.

Hostel

To avoid the inconvenience caused to the students in daily travelling to and from the college, particularly to those residing at far away places from the college, the Management has build separate hostel for boys and girls in the campus itself.
